📋 Description

• Meet with inventors and draft patent applications for filing in the USPTO • Prosecute patent applications before the USPTO, including interviewing Examiners • Collaborate with clients and other BoMc attorneys to develop and refine claim strategies • Proactively manage a docket of cases across clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies • Draft noninfringement and invalidity opinions • Conduct due diligence investigations • Perform freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses under partner supervision • Handle post-grant proceedings before the USPTO, including Inter Partes Reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of patent prosecution experience with a focus on mechanical engineering work • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or significant experience working in mechanical engineering • Positive attitude toward client service • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and professional service skills (written and verbal) • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and work in a team environment • Self-starter with commitment to success and personal professional growth • Enjoy being involved in all aspects of a vibrant law firm team • Cover letter required • Law school and undergraduate transcripts should be submitted with the application or when contacted by the firm
