📋 Description

• Support the strategic plan addressing risk assumption, risk transfer, and loss prevention activities for physician and non-clinical risks • Participate in collecting underwriting information for captive, reinsurance, physician, commercial insurance policy renewals, and bonds • Maintain historical underwriting data • Assist with risk evaluation and physician onboarding into the captive • Maintain databases of insured entities, properties, vehicles, drivers, physicians, and related information in the risk management information system • Maintain insurance schedules, policies, premiums, and policy summaries • Assist with physician credentialing and loss history requests • Analyze risk and implement loss prevention activities, including education, for clinical and non-clinical policies • Assist with compliance with patient compensation funds and other special state funds • Process and track invoices, premium payments, and premium returns • Coordinate certificate requests with facilities, practice managers, real estate, finance, human resources, and other internal departments • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned • Keep Administrative and Clinical Leaders and Market/System Risk informed of significant events and risk management activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, major in Risk Management, Healthcare, Business, or related field • CPHRM required within 4 years of hire • 3+ years in healthcare provision or administration, insurance, loss prevention, or related field, or combination of post-secondary education and experience in lieu of a degree • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Planning skills • Organizational skills • Data entry • Electronic file management • Analysis of risk • Submit payments and credits for processing • Assist with loss prevention • Collection of data • Attention to detail • Critical thinking • Team player attitude • Responsible, dependable, motivated, flexible, and adaptable • Openness to feedback and ability to accept and support leadership decisions • Positive attitude • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • CPCU, ARM, or similar certifications preferred
