📋 Description

• Own full-cycle drafting, review, and negotiation of sales contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, Order Forms, DPAs, BAAs, NDAs, and amendments • Manage a high-volume contract pipeline against defined SLAs, prioritizing and triaging by deal urgency, size, and complexity • Redline incoming customer contracts against Boostlingo’s playbook and fallback positions • Serve as primary contact for Sales and customers on contract terms and drive negotiations to close • Identify contractual blockers and propose alternative language or structures balancing risk tolerance and commercial goals • Determine when to hold, compromise, or escalate contract positions • Maintain and improve the contract playbook, templates, and fallback clause library • Track contract status, turnaround times, and bottlenecks; report volume and SLA performance to the VP of Legal & Compliance • Partner with Deal Desk and Finance on pricing, billing terms, and revenue recognition implications • Coordinate with Security and Compliance on data protection, BAA, and SOC 2 Type II terms • Support CLM tooling and workflow improvements • Ensure contracts comply with company policy, applicable law, HIPAA/BAA obligations, and industry requirements • Maintain organized, audit-ready contract records and metadata • Achieve SLA turnaround, reduce backlog, support Sales and Deal Desk, reduce escalations, and manage legal risk without blocking revenue

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. or paralegal certification/degree • 1–4 years of relevant contract drafting and negotiation experience • Experience managing a high volume of commercial contracts in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Extraordinary attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain legal terms in plain language to non-legal stakeholders • Pragmatic, creative problem-solving skills • Ability to operate with ambiguity and competing priorities and make judgment calls within delegated authority • Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools • Proficiency redlining in Word/Google Docs; track changes fluency is required • No relocation or sponsorship offered • Preferred: SaaS or technology industry experience • Preferred: Familiarity with DPAs, BAAs, SOC 2-related provisions • Preferred: Experience supporting Sales or Deal Desk • Preferred: Experience building or refining contract templates and playbooks
