📋 Description

• Manage litigation files from investigation and discovery through trial preparation • Represent clients in depositions, site inspections, hearings, and settlement negotiations • Research applicable laws and develop legal strategy with senior attorneys • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents • Communicate regularly with claims representatives and insured clients • Track billable hours and comply with invoicing requirements • Participate in case strategy discussions and firm training sessions

🎯 Requirements

• NY-barred litigation attorney • JD from an accredited law school • 2 to 5 years of litigation experience • Insurance defense background preferred • Strong research and analytical skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Ability to manage multiple matters independently while meeting deadlines • Lives within commutable distance to New York courts
