📋 Description

• Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and motions • Assist with preparation for depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials • Gather, review, and summarize medical records, accident reports, and other case-related documents • Maintain and organize case files, discovery databases, and document productions • Manage attorney calendars and schedule depositions • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts • Conduct legal and factual research as needed • Monitor court deadlines and ensure compliance with filing requirements in New Jersey State and Federal courts • Provide general administrative support to attorneys

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in legal studies and/or paralegal certificate required • Minimum 2 years of litigation paralegal experience • Preferably experience in insurance defense • Strong knowledge of New Jersey State court rules, procedures, and e-filing • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a high-volume practice • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills • Must be based in New Jersey or New York
