📋 Description

• Assist the Attorney and other team members in preparing pleadings, motions, complaints, letters, notices and orders for foreclosure litigation defense, creditor bankruptcy cases and loss mitigation • Prepare bankruptcy motions, judgments, stipulations, objections, complaints, notices and orders • Research and retrieve relevant documents from various client databases • Update appropriate information in various client databases • E-file documents with various courts • Calendar tasks • Set up court hearings and meetings • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a law firm • Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program or accredited post-secretary institution; a Bachelor’s degree and a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Bankruptcy or Mortgage Servicer experience preferred but not required • Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Black Knight, Equator, LPS, Tempo, Westlaw, PACER and ECF • Ability to continually sit and utilize hand and finger dexterity • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, talk or hear
