📋 Description

• Lead Brale’s finance disciplines, including FP&A, accounting, treasury, and regulatory reporting • Build and lead the finance team while working hands-on across core finance functions • Own forecasting, budgeting, and board-level reporting for the CEO, board, and leadership team • Oversee accounting operations and controls • Complete the transition from outsourced bookkeeping to a fully in-house, audit-ready close process • Own and improve monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes • Set treasury strategy and oversee cash management, liquidity, and reserve-system rebalancing • Own regulatory and compliance reporting for reserve programs, including quarterly call reports and monthly filings • Establish documented procedures, backups, and cross-coverage for treasury execution and regulatory reporting • Partner with the CEO, COO, Compliance, Risk, Product, and Engineering • Report directly to the COO

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive finance experience • Direct, hands-on ownership of FP&A and accounting • Experience with treasury or cash/liquidity management across multiple banking relationships and trading systems/portals • Exposure to on-chain or custodial rails, including wallets, exchanges, custodians, USDC, or USDT is a strong plus • Experience owning accounting controls and the close process • Depth in forecasting, budgeting, and translating financial data into executive and board narratives • Experience building and developing high-performing finance teams • Experience presenting directly to executives, boards, and investors • Hands-on experience managing complex payment flows across corporate and customer funds is a bonus • Familiarity with digital asset or stablecoin accounting is a bonus • CPA or MBA is a bonus • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Must not require current or future sponsorship to work in the United States
