• Develop and lead a national strategy to grow workplace giving and matching gift revenue across all programs and events • Serve as Breakthrough T1D’s subject matter expert on workplace giving, matching gift programs, trends, and platforms • Establish high-level vendor relationships and oversee platform strategy • Set annual revenue goals, develop multi-year forecasts, and oversee financial planning and performance tracking • Track and assess national KPIs and adjust strategy and financial goals based on insights • Lead external-facing matching gift communications across email, web content, and platform messaging • Architect the national workplace giving and matching gift prospecting strategy and build a corporate partner pipeline • Lead the national matching gift strategy to increase employee participation, match activation, and revenue growth • Collaborate with Global Development teams to embed matching gift strategies into programs • Advise field staff and local chapters on workplace giving and matching gift strategies • Create resources, trainings, and tools for fundraising staff and volunteers • Represent Breakthrough T1D in national Corporate Social Responsibility and workplace giving networks • Develop and maintain campaign resources and best practices • Set organizational strategy for the Creating Healthier Communities Program and Combined Federal Campaign payroll deduction • Serve as liaison to CHC and CFC and participate on the Charity Leadership Council • Create a coordinated stewardship plan for workplace giving and matched donors • Partner with Finance on revenue attribution, application tracking, and donor receipting
• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • 8 years of experience managing campaigns and directly raising 7+ figures annually through workplace giving and fundraising initiatives with Fortune 500 corporations • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking for small and large audiences, and the ability to craft compelling partner communications and represent Breakthrough T1D with professionalism • High degree of technological proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, donor databases (preferably Salesforce), collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Teams, Zoom), and matching gift platforms (Benevity, YourCause, CyberGrants, Double the Donation, Deed preferred) • Entrepreneurial and growth mindset with a collaborative approach; comfortable working both independently and within a team • Complex decision-making requiring judgement and initiative • Ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders and field leadership • Ability to supervise and mentor staff and provide strategic guidance across the program • Ability to oversee training strategy and resources and guide curriculum development • Ability to travel up to 30% for partner engagement, national meetings, and campaign support • Ability to occasionally lift and transport materials up to 15–20 pounds • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends in support of events, campaigns, or key partner engagements
