• Manage customer invoicing and contract billing activities • Monitor accounts receivable and coordinate collection activities • Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions • Assist with payroll review, reporting, and coordination with HR and payroll providers • Prepare monthly financial reports, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation • Monitor contract funding, labor utilization, and project financial performance • Support budget preparation, forecasting, and expense tracking • Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities • Support external audits, financial reviews, and government contract compliance requirements • Coordinate with program managers and leadership to track project expenditures and financial performance • Assist with financial due diligence, data collection, and integration activities for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate growth initiatives • Recommend process improvements to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and financial visibility
• Experience supporting federal government contractors • Experience with Unanet, QuickBooks, Deltek, or similar accounting systems • Familiarity with government contract invoicing and project accounting • Experience supporting financial reviews, audits, or acquisition integrations • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline • CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification desired • Experience supporting SCA contracts desired • Three years of experience supporting federal government contracting environments desired • Knowledge of FAR, CAS, DCAA audit requirements, and indirect rate structures desired • Experience supporting small to mid-sized federal government contractors desired • Experience managing audits, incurred cost submissions, and financial compliance initiatives desired • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field desired • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and leadership • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and professionally • Self-starter mentality with a focus on continuous improvement • Integrity and professionalism when handling confidential financial information • Ability to adapt and support a growing organization in a dynamic government contracting environment • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with limited supervision • Candidates located within the Eastern Time Zone are strongly preferred
