📋 Description

• Report to the SCADA Manager • Maintain the reliability, configuration, and maintenance of SCADA systems and related hardware and applications • Support field staff using SCADA at power plants in the PJM/ROC region of U.S. Hydro Operations • Manage upgrade projects and create or modify program changes for Industrial Control Systems • Deploy patches and configure/manage associated servers and equipment for NERC/FERC compliance • Develop and support SCADA software applications, including graphical screens, historical trends, alarm management, set-point entry, and manual remote control interfaces • Perform system and database backups • Provide user support for data retrieval and report creation from databases • Develop, maintain, and validate data • Test SCADA data points with NSCC personnel for commissioning • Coordinate with remote assets, NSCC, and regional Project Managers on major SCADA projects • Develop or update points lists in the PI database with Operations/Assets teams • Integrate new assets and field devices • Integrate new acquisitions into the control center with networking, systems, and operations teams • Manage security devices such as cameras, key cards, motion sensors, and associated servers • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience • Required to travel based on business need • Strong time management skills with the ability to organize, plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects • Effective oral and written communication skills in English • Ability to view tasks logically, break them down into essential requirements, and generate solutions to meet goals • Experience with MS Office Suite, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook • Experience managing and programming industrial control systems such as Allen Bradley, ABB, and Siemens • Experience in Industrial Control Systems • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Computer Science, or a related field • Equivalent experience or training will be considered • Technical knowledge of SCADA system operations and related subsystems, networks, protocols, and regulations • Experience working with databases • Experience in Industrial Networking preferred • Experience in the power industry preferred • Experience working in an Allen Bradley environment preferred
