📋 Description

• Develop process models and perform advanced data analysis • Lead chemical, physical, and biological process evaluations, alternatives analyses, lifecycle cost analyses, and process optimizations • Troubleshoot existing facilities and develop solutions for process issues • Adhere to the Quality Management Plan and manage project decisions, interim work, and deliverables • Oversee and guide junior staff in process design and definition, including mass and energy balances, process system requirements, equipment specifications, and preliminary design concepts • Participate in technical innovation projects and implement new technologies and processes • Lead experiments and evaluate technologies for implementation • Lead physical, chemical, and biological testing, analysis, and data reporting • Deliver process-related differentiating solutions • Contribute process-related technical content to pursuits, proposals, and presentations • Engage in process-related risk assessment and mitigation strategies • Contribute to regional conference presentations and publications • Support continuing education and training development, including current technical advancements • Mentor junior staff on development priorities and projects • Support subject matter experts and practice leaders in maintaining accurate, current, and complete BC Standards • Execute additional assignments as evolving needs require

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in process engineering or a related field • Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, chemical, mechanical, or biological engineering, or equivalent experience • Professional Engineer licensure required • Typically certified in the SMS Framework and progressing through SMS competencies • 5+ years of industrial water experience preferred • Proficient in process modeling and data analysis • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities • Ability to perform physical, chemical, and biological process performance evaluations with high-level oversight • Ability to effectively convey technical information to clients and internal stakeholders • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work in a diverse team environment and handle multiple competing priorities • Highly organized, with ability to coordinate multiple team members and subconsultants • Self-starter and results-oriented; able to work under tight deadlines • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test • Must be willing and able to work remotely in the United States
