📋 Description

• Lead the growth and development of industrial water projects within the Private Sector Business Unit • Apply water and wastewater engineering, client services, and project management expertise through the Issued for Construction design phase • Develop and implement project delivery strategies and tactics with business unit, design services, and design/build leaders • Plan, execute, and oversee small to mid-sized projects to meet schedule, budget, quality, and health and safety requirements • Define project scope, objectives, resource allocation, and detailed project plans • Monitor progress, manage risks and changes, resolve challenges, and communicate project updates to stakeholders • Lead project team direction, communication, motivation, trust, safety, diversity, and development • Develop and monitor scopes, schedules, budgets, quality management plans, change orders, and risk mitigation strategies • Manage third parties and vendors against contracted scope, quality, budget, and schedule • Monitor profitability through earned value analysis, revenue forecasting, and timely invoicing and collections • Build client relationships, assess satisfaction, and support client service and sales/marketing engagement • Mentor less experienced team members as needed • Travel throughout the United States as required

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience successfully managing projects of increasing complexity • Experience managing projects through the Issued for Construction design phase • Competency in developing and monitoring project schedules • Competency in developing and monitoring project budgets • Experience with risk management concepts • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams • Proven project planning, risk management, change management, and contract management experience for small to mid-sized projects • Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, or business administration, or equivalent relevant experience required • Solid knowledge of project management tools and techniques • Strong budget, quality, and change management skills • Understanding of quality and change management tools, techniques, and processes • Understanding of contract management and client service • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial performance and revenue generation • Communication, client service, and engagement proficiency • Team/staff management proficiency • Experience delivering private-sector water and wastewater infrastructure preferred • MS in engineering preferred • PE registration preferred • Experience with construction and/or operations phase of water treatment projects preferred • Process engineering for water and wastewater treatment • Design delivery experience • Ability to understand and apply technologies commonly used in industrial water applications • Nationwide experience and network, with willingness to travel throughout the US • Subject to pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug test
