📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership, client service, and people management • Lead multidisciplinary teams across environmental compliance and permitting, industrial water and wastewater, land application, and related practices • Deliver integrated solutions supporting clients’ operational, environmental, and business objectives • Mentor and develop staff, support career growth, and promote technical excellence • Strengthen existing client relationships and develop new client relationships • Identify and pursue business growth opportunities and position Brown and Caldwell as a preferred environmental solutions partner • Lead environmental engineering professionals while remaining engaged in technical project delivery • Manage analysis, planning, and development of solutions for environmental protection, water sustainability, and responsible water resource management • Assign, prioritize, and review technical work for quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance • Provide guidance and oversight for analysis, modeling, planning, and design activities • Support facility, watershed, and resource management plans and engineering deliverables • Conduct performance appraisals and support hiring, development, and performance management • Coordinate resources and schedules to meet project commitments • Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing team • Oversee workload planning, team operations, and resource alignment with business objectives • Adapt and execute additional assignments based on evolving needs

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience in environmental engineering or related field • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field required • Broad knowledge of environmental engineering principles and practices • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills • Ability to guide technical work while balancing delivery and team needs • Effective communication skills for technical teams and project stakeholders • Typically certified in the SMS Framework and progressing through the SMS competencies • Experience in land application programs, including nutrient management planning, biosolids and residuals management, beneficial reuse strategies, permitting, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and program implementation • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across compliance and permitting, industrial water and wastewater, land application, engineering, planning, and environmental services • Proven business development and client account growth experience, including client service strategies, account expansion, repeat work, pursuits and proposals, and cross-selling capabilities • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
