📋 Description

• Own the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation across three US entities and international sub-entities in NetSuite • Build fast, accurate, repeatable close processes and maintain a 5–7 business-day close calendar • Own the general ledger, chart of accounts, revenue recognition, project costing, and NetSuite segmentation architecture • Build accounting policies, written processes, and internal controls • Manage services revenue recognition under ASC 606, including WIP, unbilled revenue, and consultant time-entry-to-revenue integrity • Run the external audit as the company-side owner • Manage international accounting and compliance, including local-to-US GAAP conversion, statutory calendars, intercompany, transfer pricing execution, and multi-currency reporting • Support treasury and cash activities, including daily cash, banking, 13-week forecasting, debt covenant compliance, and working capital • Provide operating metrics for utilization, realization, effective rate, leverage, and project margin in partnership with FP&A • Lead accounting diligence and integration for acquisitions, including opening balance sheets, purchase price allocation, NetSuite conversion, ASC 805 setup, and new-entity integration • Lead, assess, develop, and grow the accounting team from transactional work into technical accounting

🎯 Requirements

• Professional services, consulting, or field services industry experience; experience structured around billable-hour economics is a hard requirement • Fluency in utilization, realization, bill rate, leverage, WIP, unbilled revenue, and project-level profitability • Strong hands-on NetSuite experience, ideally with multiple subsidiaries and currencies • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience • 3+ years as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Director in an organization with international exposure and consolidations • CPA or CMA highly preferred • Experience consolidating a multi-entity group with foreign subsidiaries, intercompany, eliminations, and currency translation • Experience owning an audit from the company side • Experience building structures, writing policies, documenting procedures, reconciliation discipline, and internal controls • Strong US GAAP knowledge, including ASC 606 for services revenue and ASC 805 for consolidations • Experience leading and developing an accounting team
