📋 Description

• Provide transactional procurement support aligned to department verticals such as Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology, Laboratory, Medical/Surgical, and Support Services • Assist customers with obtaining information and navigating Supply Chain resources • Review purchase requisitions for pricing, sourcing accuracy, contract compliance, and best value • Convert requisitions into purchase orders and place orders accurately and timely • Review purchase order confirmations and acknowledgements for pricing accuracy • Support procurement of supplies, services, and equipment • Optimize contract portfolio, group purchasing, vendor relationships, and contract compliance • Expedite orders and document back orders and estimated ship dates in Workday • Resolve invoice, receipt, and product return issues with internal customers, Accounts Payable, Receiving, and suppliers • Maintain Procurement policy and procedure compliance and ensure data integrity • Provide reliable purchasing data and feedback to leadership • Participate in organizational teams and continuous improvement projects • Establish customer service expectations and monitor service levels • Attend continuing education and share knowledge with colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree preferred • 2+ years of relevant work experience in hospital procurement • Experience with supply chain information systems, preferably Workday, desired • Healthcare supply chain experience desired • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work effectively in a large, multi-level, geographically dispersed organization • Proven prioritization and coordination skills • High level of initiative • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel • Ability to effectively communicate information in writing • Ability to effectively communicate information verbally and respond to questions from customers
