📋 Description

• Develop and execute sourcing initiatives with Leadership-level accountability • Manage purchases and oversee process flows through applicable systems • Assess opportunities, formulate sourcing strategies, and interact with business partners and key stakeholders • Build strategic alliances with clients and suppliers to execute the organization's purchasing strategy • Support Strategic Sourcing initiatives for clinical colleagues through product research, cost analysis and presentations • Develop and implement strategies and processes to reduce supply expense while maintaining quality of care • Monitor, communicate, and improve assigned scope • Collaborate with members, including physicians, to identify and formulate improvement and standardization for assigned categories • Manage sourcing initiatives, including scoping analysis, RFP development, proposal evaluations, negotiations, recommendation communications, contracting, supplier management, and budget oversight • Monitor and report initiative/contract budgets and identify recurring trends and opportunities for vendor or internal improvements • Collaborate with legal to negotiate valuable contracts on behalf of the organization or membership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, Healthcare (required; Roper only: Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree) • 5 years progressive experience in sourcing relevant commodities for large health systems • Ability to collaborate, troubleshoot, communicate and manage timelines and budgets • Experience conducting product research, cost analysis and presentations of initiatives • Experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies and processes • Experience with scoping analysis, RFP development, proposal evaluations, negotiations, contracting and supplier management • Experience monitoring and reporting budgets for initiatives/contracts • Ability to collaborate with legal to negotiate contracts • Licensing/Certification: None • Masters in Business Administration, Informatics, Analytics, Nursing (preferred)
