📋 Description

• Support the Architecture team across new store and relocation programs, with primary responsibility for façade design • Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand project goals, requirements, and budgets • Evaluate site conditions, zoning regulations, environmental factors, and other relevant considerations • Prepare and submit building permit documentation • Coordinate with local authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and address revisions or issues • Maintain communication throughout design and construction phases • Produce architectural renderings of façade elevations using digital tools • Produce façade exhibits aligned with the Burlington Brand • Solve design issues and produce façade renderings and finish documentation for each store site • Apply signage codes, landlord guidelines, and municipal requirements • Review blueprints and specifications to inform façade and signage design • Research architectural materials and recommend options supporting performance and cost targets • Travel to sites to record conditions, materials, and dimensions for execution documentation • Manage multiple projects against real estate and legal timelines • Interact with city planning departments, brokers, and landlord contacts • Document processes into department training guides • Run Lucernex reports and identify store locations requiring landlord follow-up • Track and communicate project milestones • Organize and file site documentation in Lucernex and department folders • Review architecture scope requests, assign projects, and follow up • Input project documentation into Lucernex • Collaborate with Store Planning, Design & Architecture to meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards • Participate in project and department meetings • Provide customer service to internal and external partners • Provide overall team project support • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports • Establish priorities, allocate workload, and monitor performance • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, high-performing team environment • Mentor team members in project management, design execution, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving • Build partner relationships, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment for store openings and business objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a combination of Associate Architecture degree and drafting/design experience in an Architectural office preferred • 5-7 years of experience working on commercial architecture projects • 2-3 years of experience managing a team • Strong Architectural Visualization skillset required • Proficiency in Photoshop, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and other rendering software • Smartsheet experience • Site visits and client meetings • Strong skills with MS Office, Adobe Suites, Illustrator, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet experience a plus • Excellent communication skills • Ability to be a team player as well as work independently • Preparation of construction documents • Ability to travel, drive a vehicle, stand, walk, sit, and lift as necessary
