📋 Description

• Perform security-focused design reviews of applications, systems, and networks across security, CDN, and cloud-computing products • Partner with development and infrastructure teams to remediate identified issues • Collaborate with product development teams on secure design and development choices • Provide guidance and answer questions about security practices • Serve as a subject matter expert during incidents and remediation projects • Identify tools and processes to ensure products meet security and compliance requirements • Integrate responsible AI use into workflows and secure the company's internal use and products • Enhance the security of Akamai products by integrating security into system design and development

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in security architecture in a large, global environment, including identifying architectural security weaknesses at the application, OS, and network level • Current knowledge of the latest security technologies, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities • Knowledge of remediating common vulnerabilities and proposing custom solutions based on application architecture and implementation • Broad security knowledge across cloud security, network security, cryptography, and related specialties • Experience with threat modeling or hazard-analysis frameworks such as STAMP and STRIDE • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a worldwide team • Ability to explain complex security terms to non-technical audiences
