📋 Description

• Post client and insurance payments accurately and efficiently • Reconcile accounts and research payment variances to identify and resolve discrepancies • Enter and maintain financial information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail • Respond to account-related inquiries and provide professional, service-focused support • Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve payment and account issues • Organize financial records and manage multiple priorities while meeting established deadlines • Use Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and other financial tools to support daily cash-posting activities

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • Experience or knowledge of insurance billing and collection practices • Knowledge of electronic funds transfers (EFTs), explanations of benefits (EOBs), and basic medical and insurance terminology • Cash-posting or accounts-receivable experience preferred • Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding • Strong attention to detail, data-entry, communication, customer-service, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software • Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
