• Provide strategic operational planning and clinical operational performance for Hematology franchise programs • Act as escalation point for resolution of program-related issues • Lead and manage the Global Clinical Program Lead and Global Clinical Study Manager groups • Build, develop, and retain the global team, including hiring, training, mentoring, performance appraisals, and resource management • Oversee delivery and goal achievement of programs and projects within designated franchises • Define and implement strategies, priorities, global standards, performance measures, and capability development • Participate in P&SM decision-making, strategy shaping, functional management, process optimization, and process streamlining • Represent GCO to governance teams and provide clinical operational insight for Therapeutic/Asset strategy • Lead or participate in KOL engagement activities and serve as functional spokesperson when needed • Evaluate strategic feasibility and budget estimates for new clinical development plans and strategy changes • Allocate resources and initiate CST formation • Create annual budget and resource forecasts and relevant DCT goals • Create, review, and maintain compound-level documents including IB, DSUR, and protocols • Guide clinical study teams in timely, high-quality, and efficient study planning and execution • Conduct program review meetings and monitor study budgets and timelines • Report program and study status, goals, and operational KPIs • Collaborate on global vendor selection and vendor governance • Create or review performance and development plans for direct reports • Provide line management and mentorship • Drive scientific knowledge development within Clinical Operations • Champion a global mindset and collaboration across Clinical Operations • Provide expert guidance on clinical-trial execution and applicable regulatory requirements • Drive process improvement initiatives • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support clinical development goals
• Bachelor or higher degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline • 12+ years of experience in the clinical trial industry • Project and program management experience across the entire lifecycle of multi-region/country clinical trials • Experience working in a fast-paced global environment • Proven excellent record and accomplishments in related global clinical operations areas • Demonstrated good leadership capabilities or potential • 3+ years of leadership and people management experience • 3+ years of leadership and people management experience managing senior-manager-level or above personnel • Experience of second-line management preferred • 3+ years of experience in Hematology cancers preferred • Deep understanding of ICH/GCP Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements • Ability to manage direct or indirect reports • Global competencies including teamwork, actionable feedback, self-awareness, inclusivity, initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, continuous learning, adaptability, results orientation, analytical thinking/data analysis, financial excellence, and clear communication
