📋 Description

• Obtain and analyze data through advanced computerized models and algorithms to inform strategic decision-making and optimize business outcomes • Extrapolate data patterns using advanced algorithms to identify actionable insights • Develop graphs, charts, and visualizations to communicate complex mathematical findings • Present analytical outcomes to managers and stakeholders to guide business model adjustments and future planning • Apply in-depth knowledge of VHA systems and files, including CDW, VistA, VSSC, RAMP, PTF (MedSAS), MCA, PCMM, NPCD, and VETSNET • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple VA sources • Translate raw data into meaningful reports that support healthcare transformation goals • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with program objectives • Support predictive modeling and trend analysis to improve veteran healthcare delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Data Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, or a related field • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a healthcare or federal environment • Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SAS) • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings to non-technical audiences • Familiarity with VHA systems and data repositories, including CDW and VistA • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role • Resume must be submitted in word document format and must include dates in each section (experience, education, certifications...) • Candidates must fill out the below form to the best of their knowledge • Preferred: Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Public Health, or related discipline • Preferred: Experience supporting federal healthcare programs, especially within the Department of Veterans Affairs • Preferred: Knowledge of healthcare data standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) • Preferred: Experience with machine learning models and predictive analytics in healthcare settings • Preferred: Active Public Trust clearance • Preferred: Familiarity of Senator Elizabeth Dole Act Sections 105 and 107
