📋 Description

• Serve as liaison between clients, claimants, producers, and carriers regarding all claim matters • Advocate proactively on behalf of clients for the best possible claim outcome and protect client interests by mitigating overall exposure • Manage all aspects of claims, including evaluating coverage, entering claims into the agency management system, preparing loss notices, reporting claims to carriers, following up on claim progress, updating insureds and producers, and maintaining claim records • Coordinate between clients and insurers to discuss claims and coverage and assist with resolving coverage issues, including through on-site visits • Assist with needs assessments to establish reporting procedures and service commitments • Provide technical expertise for client inquiries concerning claim matters • Provide claim status reports and review and maintain claim files • Schedule and participate in formal claim reviews, stewardships, and client presentations • Notify producers and servicing teams about accounts with adverse claim history • Identify claims trends and assist Risk and Safety with resolutions • Interface with other departments to ensure effective communication and operations • Provide technical support to other C3 Risk & Insurance Services departments • Maintain current knowledge of insurance contracts and industry trends through seminars, workshops, and training programs • Conduct business according to established policies and procedures • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of claims-related experience • Ideally experience handling General Liability, Auto, or Property claims • Active P&C license or Claims Certification • Strong attention to detail • Well organized • Excellent math skills • Strong written and oral communication skills • Ability to learn unfamiliar technology quickly • Team-player attitude and willingness to perform additional duties • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight out-of-state visits • College degree is not required; an insurance designation is advantageous
