📋 Description

• Understand contractual language • Order specific additional insured endorsements • Follow up with underwriting • Communicate with clients and/or Client Managers regarding endorsement changes • Support one or more Client Managers or Client Executives on a designated book of business or team • Issue proofs of insurance • Gather documentation for new and renewal marketing, including prior policies, loss runs, and motor vehicle reports • Enter quote data into various carrier systems • Prepare summaries of insurance for renewal or mid-term reviews • Process and request endorsement transactions with carriers and document transactions in the management system • Review binders, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy and deliver them to clients • Provide invoices and statements to clients and review accounts receivable for timely payment • Enter claims data into the management system and transmit it to carriers when needed • Review and deliver premium audits to clients • Back up the team in other functions as needed • Maintain files and communication documentation according to company policy and Department of Insurance professional standards • Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders • Adhere to C3’s Quality Management Program expectations

🎯 Requirements

• 1-3 years of industry experience showing increasing responsibility directly related to the duties • Good understanding of insurance terminology, the general functions of an insurance broker, and various lines of Business Insurance • Active P&C license • Currently hold or be in the process of obtaining an insurance designation • Willingness to pursue advanced insurance designations and continuing education • Proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to prioritize tasks, set and achieve goals, think logically in solving problems, and present results neatly, clearly, and precisely in oral and written form • Strong attention to detail • Experience working in Applied Epic preferred • Experience supporting Construction risks in CA preferred • Ability to use a keyboard and other office equipment
