📋 Description

• Assess, engineer, implement, and modernize Windows and Azure systems for a distributed enterprise network environment • Validate system requirements and recommend transition from the DHS network to an agency-owned and managed network • Assist the Project Manager with presentations and reports • Prepare and present plans and changes to the Technical Review Board • Contribute to Knowledge Base, SOPs, work instructions, and job aids • Assist with risk management to minimize project risks • Lead meetings with customers and partners to understand business needs • Participate in project planning and develop project documents by identifying risks and dependencies • Implement Azure infrastructure solutions and provide oversight and leadership on workstreams across domains • Manage escalations, analyze situations, and coordinate resources to resolve issues while considering cost implications and engaging internal and external stakeholders • Provide operational support and service delivery for managed enterprise services • Improve availability and performance of managed services • Troubleshoot complex incidents

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD); active EOD preferred • BA/BS + 8 years of applicable experience • 5 or more years of relevant Microsoft Azure IaaS engineering and support • ITIL Foundation certification expected within the first six months (not required to start) • Expert knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems deployed in Azure (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) • Strong scripting and PowerShell skills • Experience building, configuring, and hardening Windows servers • Experience managing the Azure platform using Intune • Advanced experience with Azure Active Directory management and administration • Previous DHS or DoD experience preferred • Other hands-on Microsoft Windows administrator certifications preferred • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals preferred • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ preferred • Experience with Azure Cloud, scripting, and automation preferred
