📋 Description

• Build, improve, modernize, and maintain the implementation of a new Tenable architecture for the Department of the Air Force • Work with the Modernization Team, ACAS Solution Architect, Chief Architect, and Chief Engineer to develop the ACAS Solution • Report to the ACAS Project Manager • Manage and perform work with technical engineers on the modernization team to advance modernization design build, test, and deployment tasks • Develop, improve, and maintain the Tenable Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) • Aid development of the Project Integrated Master Schedule in conjunction with the ACAS Engineering Lead • Identify technical continuous improvement and project execution efficiencies • Develop and implement improvements to existing processes and practices • Conduct investigations to determine root cause of technical issues • Develop topology and flow diagrams with technical staff • Develop and brief solution presentation material to internal program and Engineering teams • Develop automation scripts and code efficiencies • Perform and maintain an Enterprise Red Hat Linux Operating Infrastructure with integrations into RHEL Satellite and RHEL Ansible • Deploy and maintain Kubernetes containers within Azure and VMware Hypervisors • Pass all Department of the Air Force internal Gate Reviews without rejection • White-board the solution ad hoc with the project team without referencing existing solution materials • Implement identified process improvement per quarter

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance • 15+ years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience • 10+ years of experience with ACAS Solutions; Tenable preferred with a minimum of 7 years of direct experience • 5+ years of experience deploying, automating, and hardening Red Hat Linux operating systems • 3+ years of experience with DevOps tools and automation • 2+ years of experience implementing enterprise applications in Kubernetes and building out Kubernetes in an enterprise environment • 1+ years of experience supporting the Department of Defense • Excellent communication skills with experience briefing internal project team members and DAF stakeholders • One of the following certifications: CISSP or equivalent DoD 8140 Certification Compliance as a Tenable Solution Architect • Up to 10% travel required • Ability to work in the Continental US
