📋 Description

• support CCTV System design, development, and Proof of concepts • oversee installation and commissioning of network-based CCTV security systems • provide measurable input into design elements of future systems • evaluate shipboard environments for the installation of equipment • install and/or oversee installation of applicable equipment • perform onsite testing of equipment and coordinate with other engineers • install and/or oversee installation of applicable cables • troubleshoot hardware and software issues at commissioning

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance • Requires 5 years’ experience as a field engineer supporting technical programs • Experience in installing, modifying, or maintaining shipboard CCTV systems and/or networks, including compliance with ABS and USCG requirements for electrical installations • Experience in IP Related Services: TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, PPP, and SIP • Working knowledge of CAT5-5E, CAT6, and Fiber Optic cable, connectors, and demonstrated capability of fabricating required equipment • Familiar with Windows and or Unix type of Operating Systems • Experience using VISIO and MS Office • Ability to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.
