📋 Description

• Lead and direct supplier assessments for critical suppliers to the Maritime Industrial Base • Manage root cause assessments and implement corrective actions to achieve 1st pass yield and on-time delivery of materials • Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous process improvement initiatives and ensure long-term supplier resiliency • Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure • Coordinate project activities across technical, operational, and administrative functions within scope and budget • Provide operational guidance and problem resolution with quality assurance, engineering, and program management teams • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies • Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and government stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; technical field preferred • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on manufacturing or supplier management • PMP required • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience in process improvement desired • Strong background in supplier assessments, corrective actions, and continuous process improvement • Proven experience managing projects within a manufacturing or supply chain environment • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams while maintaining focus on project objectives and deadlines • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and external suppliers • Active Secret Clearance • Up to 25% travel required • Ability to work within the Continental US
