📋 Description

• Lead assigned Major Component Upgrade and Blade projects from planning through closeout • Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, cost, customer satisfaction, and contractual compliance • Champion safety culture and lead by example • Manage project EHS performance, corrective action closure, and compliance with GE Vernova standards, customer requirements, and regulations • Maintain prevailing wage compliance and support certified payroll accuracy • Keep project documentation audit-ready • Own quality documentation, inspection records, punch list management, and final customer acceptance • Lead lessons learned and continuous improvement activities • Develop detailed execution plans and lead project kickoff meetings • Monitor progress and manage risks, issues, and recovery plans • Conduct daily, weekly, and milestone-based project reviews • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls • Monitor labor, equipment, crane, subcontractor, travel, and material costs • Manage invoicing support, change orders, and cost recovery opportunities • Maintain project profitability and forecast accuracy • Serve as primary customer-facing representative • Lead customer status meetings and provide execution updates • Manage customer expectations, escalations, and recovery planning • Coordinate subcontractors, crane providers, logistics vendors, and equipment suppliers • Monitor vendor and contractor performance and compliance • Support contractor onboarding and performance evaluations • Coordinate staffing, equipment availability, site mobilization, tooling, crane planning, logistics, outage planning, and customer availability tracking • Ensure project readiness before field execution • Develop future project leaders and foster cross-functional collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related discipline; equivalent field experience considered • Minimum 2 years of experience in wind energy, industrial construction, heavy lift operations, field services, or related industries • Experience managing Major Component Upgrades, Blade projects, or similar large-scale field operations • Working knowledge of crane operations, lift planning, rigging practices, and site logistics • Experience supporting projects within prevailing wage environments • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Smartsheet, and project management tools • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • PMP certification or equivalent project management training preferred • Experience with wind turbine major component exchanges preferred • Experience with blade repair or blade replacement projects preferred • Knowledge of labor compliance and certified payroll processes preferred • Experience managing subcontracted workforces preferred • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training preferred • Experience working directly with utility-scale renewable energy customers preferred
