📋 Description

• Design, build, test, and deploy HL7 interfaces connecting Cadwell modalities with customer EMR/EHR systems • Serve as primary technical contact for HL7 integration projects and collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders • Conduct discovery and document interface requirements, message specifications, data mapping, and implementation deliverables • Develop interface design documents, test plans, validation reports, go-live checklists, and other project documentation • Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing and validate interfaces before go-live • Provide post-go-live support, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions for interface issues • Execute integration plans within the Technical Project Management Team • Configure and customize HL7 message structures such as ORM and ORU • Coordinate interface-related escalations and liaise with internal resources • Monitor interfaces and resolve message failures or transmission errors during go-live • Escalate unresolved integration issues to the direct manager • Assist with HL7 and interoperability requirements for new products and enhancements • Install and configure test servers and clients in customer environments as needed • Evaluate performance using team KPIs and recommend improvements to procedures and interface build standards • Participate in internal and customer-facing calls • Maintain current knowledge of HL7 standards and interoperability frameworks • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on HL7 interface development and implementation experience required • Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts, or similar required • In-depth understanding of HL7 message structures, segments, data types, and encoding rules • Experience with interface engine platforms such as Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Ensemble/HealthShare, or similar • Ability to manage multiple interface projects and deliver against defined timelines • Exemplary listening and cross-functional collaboration skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical clinical and administrative audiences • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills focused on data integrity, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency • Ability and self-discipline to work effectively in a remote environment • Experience in healthcare technology, medical device, or clinical informatics preferred • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered • HL7 certification preferred • Experience with Cadwell software or neurodiagnostic/sleep systems is a plus
