• Ensure the workforce relevancy, quality, and continuous improvement of Calbright Health Science Programs • Support program approval processes, including state, accreditation, certification, and regulatory requirements • Monitor healthcare industry trends, workforce demands, certification requirements, and regulatory changes • Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Health Science programs using competency-based and skills-based learning models • Lead program-level meetings reviewing program quality, continuous improvement, and student success metrics • Ensure program outcomes, assessment measures, and course content are rigorous, responsive, and workforce-relevant • Support Adjunct Faculty in setting annual SMART goals • Oversee adjunct faculty, including reviews, timesheet approval, training, mentorship, student referrals, and escalations • Review student and course feedback and recommend content and program improvements • Lead program review cycles, collect and analyze data, engage stakeholders, and prepare reports • Analyze student outcomes data and contribute to trend analysis and metric tracking • Identify, evaluate, develop, and maintain clinical, practicum, internship, apprenticeship, and other experiential learning opportunities • Collaborate with external partners to support student skill development and workforce readiness • Lead Health Science Advisory Councils and engage healthcare employers, licensing bodies, workforce agencies, and industry experts • Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare organizations, employers, professional associations, and workforce agencies • Maintain relevance in the discipline through certifications, professional development, and networking • Perform other related duties as assigned
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Health Sciences, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related health discipline • Minimum three years of professional experience in healthcare, health sciences education, workforce development, healthcare administration, or a closely related field • Demonstrated experience supporting program quality, curriculum development, workforce alignment, regulatory compliance, or student success initiatives • In-depth knowledge in one or more department program areas • Knowledge of competency-based education and assessment-forward design • Knowledge of healthcare workforce trends, healthcare delivery systems, regulatory requirements, and industry-recognized credentials • Knowledge of healthcare program accreditation, certification, and approval processes • Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare organizations, employers, workforce boards, and professional associations • Knowledge of experiential learning, clinical education, internship, practicum, and work-based learning models • Ability to interpret labor market information and workforce data • Knowledge of program review processes, outcomes assessment, and key performance metrics • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively • Ability to lead and promote change management • Ability to work in a remote online instructional environment and use digital communication tools • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Must comply with mandated reporter requirements under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act, Calbright College policies, procedures, and Title IX
