📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end client onboarding process for newly acquired business banking relationships • Coordinate account opening documentation, KYC/BSA requirements, and system setup across internal departments • Ensure smooth transition from the Business Development Officer/Relationship Manager to active client status • Serve as primary point of contact for new clients during onboarding, providing product and service guidance • Conduct onboarding calls and welcome communications • Serve as day-to-day operational contact for assigned business banking clients • Resolve inquiries and service requests, including account maintenance, online banking support, and product inquiries • Communicate account updates, product enhancements, and service changes • Identify and escalate complex client issues • Monitor client satisfaction and flag attrition risks • Prepare, collect, and review documentation for account openings, credit facilities, and compliance requirements • Maintain client files and records according to bank policies and regulatory standards • Support annual reviews by gathering financial statements, insurance certificates, and other documentation • Coordinate with Credit Administration, Legal, and Operations teams • Operate as an integral member of the Business Banking pod alongside the BDO and RM • Support BDO and RM with research, client materials, and meeting coordination • Collaborate with Treasury Management, Payments, Operations, and other product partners • Maintain client records, notes, and activity logs in the CRM platform • Assist with pipeline tracking and reporting • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through additional products and services • Generate qualified referrals to internal partners • Support client retention through high service quality and proactive outreach • Assist with client events and communication campaigns • Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements • Identify and escalate fraud, compliance, and operational risks • Participate in compliance training and maintain knowledge of applicable regulations • Support the bank's Enterprise Risk Management framework through documentation and process adherence • Use independent judgment and discretion to make decisions • Analyze and resolve problems • Perform special projects and additional duties as required • Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and deliver tailored client solutions

🎯 Requirements

• High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent • 4+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or a client-facing support role • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with banking systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills • Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in business, finance or a related field • Experience in business banking, commercial banking operations, or client servicing • Knowledge of business banking products including deposits, lending, treasury management, and payments • Experience with client onboarding processes, KYC/BSA documentation, and account administration • Familiarity with commercial loan documentation and credit support functions • Experience working within a team-based or pod coverage model • Ability to identify cross-sell opportunities and generate internal referrals • Clear, professional written and verbal communication • Ability to manage multiple client requests, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously • Accuracy in documentation, data entry, and compliance-related tasks • Effective teamwork within the pod structure and across functional departments • Ability to identify issues, research solutions, and resolve client concerns efficiently • Sound judgment in identifying and escalating potential risks and compliance concerns • Some travel may be required for periodic team collaboration sessions and client-facing activities • Must adhere to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and complete required compliance training
