📋 Description

• Evaluate title searches and research and resolve title issues and discrepancies based on published underwriting standards, bulletins, and guidelines. • Determine solutions for clearing title issues and act on those determinations. • Obtain releases for prior liens and review divorce decrees, trusts, and corporate documents. • Coordinate with state and regional underwriting counsel to resolve title curative matters. • Order and follow up on necessary clearance documentation. • Communicate with lienholders or attorneys regarding HOA liens, municipal liens, and other property liens. • Provide estimated title curative resolution dates to clients and manage tracking reports. • Facilitate review, corrections, and delivery of completed documents to clients. • Prioritize daily work to ensure client SLAs are met. • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required. • Baccalaureate degree preferred. • 5+ years of curative experience in the title industry. • Commercial and Purchase experience preferred. • Ability to work under general supervision. • Ability to make well-reasoned risk decisions. • Experience utilizing ResWare or similar title software preferred. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely present issues, ideas, and recommendations in verbal, written, and presentation formats. • Highly motivated, inquisitive, self-started, with the ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. • Ability to produce at high volume and work under pressure and tight deadlines. • Capable of generating respect and trust to develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners across all levels of stakeholders.
