📋 Description

• Lead the design and deployment of AI-powered applications directly on the Azure Databricks platform • Architect solutions running natively in the Databricks serverless environment • Integrate platform services for data governance, querying, authentication, and model serving • Build and own the React shell, data visualization views, and configurable user portals • Implement authentication and secure role-aware access using Databricks AppKit with Entra ID / Azure AD federation • Integrate interfaces with governed data through curated SQL views, semantic models, and catalog data in the Databricks lakehouse • Connect front ends to conversational Genie Spaces for natural-language data questions • Collaborate with data engineers, functional SMEs, product management, client teams, and CampusWorks colleagues • Evaluate current processes and design future-state processes • Architect, develop, test, train, and roll out process and technical solutions across multiple institution deployments

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python • Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as React and Dash • Experience with state management and data fetching using relevant frameworks and libraries • Server-side scaffolding, structuring, and deployment experience with Node.js and Python frameworks • Familiarity with authentication patterns and secure access, including OAuth and identity federation • Ability to query catalog data from Lakebase or other structured SQL configurations • Experience with UX or visual design, preferred • Exposure to Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, or Unity Catalog, preferred • Experience in higher education, analytics, or data-intensive SaaS delivery environments, preferred
