📋 Description

• Design, develop, and test applications using React JS technologies from development through QA to production • Understand current system infrastructure, security needs, network considerations, and methodologies • Integrate designs and wireframes into application code • Write JavaScript interface code and translate wireframes and designs into quality code • Optimize components across browsers and devices • Develop responsive web-based user interfaces • Support the organization’s application ecosystem • Write clean, scalable code using React JS • Refactor, debug, test, and deploy applications and systems • Improve existing Java applications and systems • Develop documentation throughout the development lifecycle • Provide technical support to the team, District agencies, personnel, and stakeholders • Ensure technologies remain current, stable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards • Collaborate with internal teams on software design and architecture • Monitor and report technology performance utilization • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues or failures • Manage problem tickets, escalations, tasks, and out-of-cycle requests • Advise customers on effective system use and provide consultative expertise • Identify complex issues across integrated technologies and communicate appropriately • Coordinate application developer activities when needed • Identify product best practices and standards • Deliver support and design for applications integrating with statewide systems • Interact with executive-level business users and technical experts • Function as a niche technical subject matter expert when needed • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience • 16 years of enterprise web development experience • 3 years of experience with React UI framework (React.js) • 3 years of experience with ReactJS, RxJS, NodeJS, and ES6/5 • 3 years of experience with Redux architecture • 3 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Angular 2.0 • 3 years of experience developing React Native components • 3 years of experience with JSX • 3 years of experience with REST APIs • 3 years of experience with JSON and XML • 3 years of experience translating wireframes and designs for development • 3 years of experience with CSS libraries, Sigma, and Adobe XD • 3 years of experience with ReactJS workflows including Flux, Redux, Create React App, and data structure libraries • 3 years of experience with Git version control repository • 3 years of experience with Tomcat, Jetty, or Undertow application servers • 3 years of experience with Linux working environment • 3 years of Red Hat OpenShift container-based application development and deployment experience • 3 years of knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Development • 11 years of experience required to qualify for a Senior-level STaR2 position • Must be able to qualify for a Senior-level STaR2 position • W2 or 1099 only; no C2C
