📋 Description

• Lead architecture for a specific healthcare payer business domain such as Claims, Enrollment & Billing, Provider, or UM/PA • Guide Agile PODs in delivering secure, scalable solutions aligned with enterprise principles, HIPAA, and payer standards • Translate business capabilities into target-state, transition, and architecture-runway artifacts • Produce solution blueprints covering context, logical, data, and integration diagrams • Support threat modeling, privacy, and resilience activities • Apply API-first and event-driven patterns using Azure API Management and Kafka • Integrate with Facets, TruCare, Salesforce, and EHR interfaces • Support application rationalization using APM tools and document TCO, redundancy, and disposition • Ensure designs meet privacy, security, resilience, observability, and cost objectives • Contribute to architecture governance, standards, and DevSecOps practices • Promote approved AI patterns including prompt management, RAG, PHI redaction, and human review • Partner with stakeholders to improve flow and reduce rework in sprints and PI planning

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10 years in IT • 3-5+ years in solution/enterprise architecture • Bachelor's degree in appropriate field • Healthcare payer experience in at least one domain • Familiarity with Facets or similar core administration systems • Strong Azure skills, including App Services, Functions, AKS, API Management, and Event Grid • Experience with Kafka, REST, FHIR, GraphQL, SOAP, SQL Server, and Oracle • Working knowledge of HIPAA, EDI 270/271, 278, 835/837, and CMS interoperability • Experience with Jira/Confluence, Visio/Lucid, and ServiceNow APM/CMDB or LeanIX • Knowledge of TOGAF/ArchiMate preferred • Ability to work over 40 hours per week • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 5 pounds
