📋 Description

• Work with the Vice President of Information Security to develop a security program and prioritize security projects aligned with the company’s strategic roadmap • Serve as the information security technical leader and ultimate escalation point for security team members, incidents, and requests • Interface with Application and Infrastructure departments, business-unit leaders, and partner organizations to design and implement the corporate security vision • Design and implement robust, scalable, and resilient security architectures for systems and applications • Develop and maintain architectural security standards, guidelines, and best practices • Identify, quantify, and provide design remediations for security risks in enterprise projects • Evaluate existing systems and propose enhancements to improve security posture • Partner with business members and IT leaders to drive security strategy and direction • Produce management reporting and metrics on information security risk and exposure • Provide information security expertise to technology teams and projects • Ensure technologies meet security-related policies, including FTC and PCI requirements • Ensure compliance with local encryption regulations and privacy law • Serve as a key technical member of the Architecture Review Board • Review significant technology initiatives and architectural changes for security, architecture, integration, operational impact, risk, and long-term supportability • Identify security concerns, dependencies, architectural impacts, operational considerations, and technical risks before implementation • Help teams evaluate alternative approaches and document architecture decisions • Determine which initiatives require deeper security and architecture review • Drive implementation of security solutions based on industry standards and organizational requirements • Guide configuration and deployment of cloud security governance and monitoring, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, encryption, privileged identity management, secure cloud posture management, secure application development technologies, and AI controls • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into new and existing systems • Identify where security policies, standards, and procedures require change or development • Evaluate and recommend security software and hardware and their integration into existing architecture through proof of technology

🎯 Requirements

• College degree in related technical / business areas and/or 10+ years equivalent work experience • 3+ years experience as a security architect or consultant with enterprise experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaboration skills • Ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • In depth knowledge of information security practices related to PCI, SOX, FTC, and OWASP application security • Excellent analytical skills • Ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines • Ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives • Professional security management certification such as CISSP, CISM, AWS or Azure security and architecture certifications, CISA, or similar credentials is preferred • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT, NIST, and CIS frameworks is preferred • Ability to design secure, scalable, and resilient security architectures, including AI • Proficiency with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and encryption mechanisms • Understanding of network security principles, VPN, SSL/TLS, IPsec, DNSSEC, SASE, and Zero Trust architecture • Knowledge of cloud security and AWS, Azure, or GCP environments, including IAM, data encryption, and secure configuration • Familiarity with secure coding practices, WAF, SDLC, and vulnerability assessment tools • Proficiency securing Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems • Understanding of cryptographic principles, digital signatures, SSL/TLS, and PKI • Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and other security regulations • Knowledge of data loss prevention, file integrity monitoring, SIEM, data scanning and tagging, and Microsoft AIP
