📋 Description

• Run key initiatives across Business Cards and Payments to help integrate the Brex acquisition • Bring Brex’s B2B software into Capital One’s ecosystem • Build a technical program management practice for the Business Cards and Payments domain across Personal Liability and Corporate Liability Cards • Mentor and develop TPM leaders • Foster a high-performance culture focused on technical excellence and delivery accountability • Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery lifecycle • Lead technology-focused discussions with senior leadership and provide insights and recommendations for technology decisions • Drive execution, follow-through, accountability, and results across complex programs • Collaborate across product, engineering, design, data science, and other organizational boundaries

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • At least 9 years of experience managing technical programs • Strong technical background, ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services • Experience identifying and mitigating technical risks throughout the delivery lifecycle • Experience building and leading world-class technical program management teams • Ability to lead technology-focused discussions with senior leadership • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills • Excellent problem-solving and influencing skills • Quantitative approach to problem-solving and systems thinking • Ability to grow and develop a team of TPMs and build the foundations for a TPM practice • Ability to simplify technically complex topics and drive decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science • Deep focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results • Ability to collaborate across functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries • Highly tuned emotional intelligence, good listening, and empathy for teams and partners • 9+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing • 5+ years of experience building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing architecture, preferably AWS • 5+ years of experience building and leading experienced TPM teams • 5+ years of experience building highly scalable mobile products and platforms • 5+ years of experience with Agile delivery • 5+ years of experience delivering large and complex programs • Experience building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment • No employer-sponsored immigration support for employment authorization
