📋 Description

• Lead the engineering organization behind scalable, secure, AI-enabled healthcare technology • Set the technical vision and direction for scalable healthcare IT solutions • Assess emerging healthcare technologies and trends, including applied AI, automation, interoperability standards, cloud-native architectures, cybersecurity, and data platforms • Lead technical decisions and evolve the technology stack, platforms, frameworks, tools, cloud infrastructure, data architecture, integrations, developer productivity, and AI capabilities • Collaborate with business development, product management, design, security, compliance, clinical, legal, and other cross-functional teams • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle and product delivery • Improve engineering velocity, reliability, security, and operational excellence • Develop and manage engineering project budgets and optimize resource allocation • Identify and mitigate technical, security, privacy, regulatory, and AI-related risks • Establish quality engineering processes, automated testing, production monitoring, data quality controls, and AI feature validation • Implement testing methodologies and standards meeting regulatory compliance requirements • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team • Foster innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and professional growth • Report directly to the Chief Product Officer

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare informatics, computer science, or business administration • 15+ years of demonstrated experience leading high-performing engineering teams • Experience developing managers • Experience scaling modern software platforms • Experience improving engineering operating models • Experience delivering enterprise-grade products in regulated or data-intensive environments • Extensive experience in healthcare IT • Proven track record in full-stack technical leadership roles and taking products to market • Experience with full-stack development, including Java, MS SQL, ReactJS, Power BI, and Snowflake • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, interoperability, and data security • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and project management practices
