📋 Description

• Lead the team responsible for protecting and operating the technology that runs Cardlytics’ business • Set security and IT strategy and represent the program to executives, the board, and bank partners • Lead a five-person team covering security engineering, IT engineering, network engineering, security compliance, and end-user support • Own the SOX/SOC 2 control environment for engineering and GUARD • Serve as primary contact for external auditors, internal audit, and bank-partner third-party risk assessments • Oversee and improve identity and access management across Google Workspace, Okta, and ConductorOne • Maintain the cloud security baseline across the AWS production environment • Partner with Engineering to triage and remediate security findings from Wiz and Expel • Champion safe and effective company-wide AI adoption and use AI within security, IT, and compliance workflows • Ensure secure device management for the Windows/macOS remote workforce, BYOD mobile posture, and company-wide IT help desk support • Ensure proactive SSL/TLS certificate renewal, network resilience, and network hygiene • Manage and develop the five-person team, set priorities, review work, and cover team functions when needed • Partner with the CTO to align security/IT priorities with business strategy • Communicate risk and program status to non-technical executives, the board, and bank auditors

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in security and/or IT leadership • 3+ years managing a team directly • Deep, hands-on background in at least two of security engineering, security architecture, identity and access management, or vulnerability management • Experience owning or heavily supporting SOX and/or SOC 2 compliance programs, including work with external auditors • Experience with modern IAM tooling such as Okta or Google Workspace • Experience with cloud security platforms such as Wiz or comparable CNAPP/CSPM • Comfort operating in a fully remote, lean-team environment and relying on managed/third-party providers • Working knowledge of AWS and infrastructure-as-code concepts, including Terraform • Executive-level communication skills for translating technical risk into business terms • Enthusiasm for applying AI tools to security, IT, and compliance workflows • Familiarity with or willingness to work with macOS and Google Workspace is required; both macOS and Windows are supported • Experience in fintech, adtech, or environments with significant third-party/bank compliance scrutiny is valued but not required • Familiarity with Databricks, EKS, or MDR/managed-SOC relationships is valued but not required • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security/compliance certification is valued but not required
