📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Accounts Payable professionals • Establish roles and responsibilities and manage performance expectations • Foster a high-performing, service-oriented culture focused on responsiveness and accuracy • Manage team capacity, workload prioritization, and skill development • Ensure timely and accurate invoice and payment processing according to company policies and SLAs • Manage payment runs and approval and authorization compliance • Monitor AP aging, identify bottlenecks, and resolve outstanding items • Maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders • Resolve vendor inquiries, payment issues, and disputes • Own AP process requirements and optimize workflows in Coupa and NetSuite with Finance Systems/IT • Increase electronic payments and reduce manual processes • Support supplier portal adoption and vendor onboarding • Oversee fraud prevention controls, vendor validation, and payment verification • Ensure SOX compliance, segregation of duties, and approval workflows • Prepare for and support internal and external audits • Identify control gaps and lead remediation • Own AP close activities, including subledger reconciliations and aging review • Provide AP performance and trend reporting • Partner with Treasury on cash flow planning and payment timing • Standardize and document AP processes, policies, and procedures • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency, scalability, and accuracy

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 8+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role • Strong understanding of AP processes, P2P workflows, and accounting principles • Experience operating in a SOX-compliant environment • Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite and AP automation tools such as Coupa • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Experience working in a high-growth or transforming organization • Track record of implementing process improvements or system enhancements • Experience leading remote or distributed teams
