📋 Description

• Proactively manage an assigned portfolio by sourcing relevant financial and credit information, evaluating buyer risk, and assigning credit grades in line with established criteria • Manage credit portfolios of diverse companies, including public and private companies, investment grade and non-investment grade credits, and middle market to large corporate obligors • Perform comprehensive financial statement analysis to assign company credit ratings and recommend underwriting strategies • Review financial statements, tax returns, due diligence reports, credit bureaus, appraisals, internal credit information, industry research, and peer data to determine appropriate credit ratings • Prepare and present complex credit recommendations on large exposures and strategically important credits to senior credit management and other stakeholders in credit committee settings • Develop and maintain relationships with treasury and finance teams to obtain financial data, review financial performance, and discuss business forecasts • Author industry sector outlooks to determine underlying market trends

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance • 3-5 years’ experience in banking, insurance or other financial institutions • Experience evaluating corporate financial statements of both public and private companies • Experience using ratings platforms for company research, financial data, and credit analysis • Experience producing thoughtful qualitative and quantitative written analysis • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting • Familiarity with Generative AI tools for research, data insights, and general productivity • Prior fundamental credit training including financial statement analysis is preferred • MBA is preferred • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain complex financial information
