📋 Description

• Analyze data, information requirements, and flow patterns to define and design programs and processes for clinical and business needs on the Epic platform • Determine the need for new product implementation • Identify, map, measure, analyze, and improve clinical and business processes for assigned Epic applications • Perform current and future workflow analysis using business process reengineering techniques, industry standards, and best practices • Prepare business requirements documentation using case diagrams, data flow diagrams, data models, and object models • Evaluate proposed solutions against business and clinical needs • Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications • Configure applicable systems to meet business requirements • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts; conduct unit, integration, system, and end-user acceptance testing • Track problem reports and document testing outcomes • Develop training materials and provide client, trainer, and end-user training • Monitor system functionality and clinical and business processes, instituting changes as needed • Explain assigned applications and related systems and assist users with application functionality and process flow • Develop and maintain product documentation, workflows, requirements, specifications, installation instructions, test procedures, user manuals, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines • Complete change and quality-control documentation • Communicate project status and upgrades to clinic users, including potential delays or downtime • Manage multiple user requests and priorities • Schedule and manage application version upgrades • Provide application support and troubleshooting as needed • Work closely with technical staff, application staff, clients, users, vendors, and technical professionals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field • Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing, and documentation experience • Obtain within 6 months and maintain annual educational requirements for EPIC certification(s) as required by department • Experience using applications, operating systems, and databases, including basic hardware, platform, connectivity, and interface design • Experience in Epic and other healthcare applications • Project management experience and ability to use project management software • Ability to work with minimal supervision, balance multiple tasks, set priorities, and accomplish assignments in a timely manner • Organizational and analytical skills • Strong problem and issue resolution skills • Strong written and oral communication skills • Ability to work closely with healthcare application users, vendors, and technical professionals • Ability to translate user requirements into system specifications • Understanding of change management practices and procedures • Understanding of technical components and how they relate to applications • Ability to perform work-related travel • Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the duties • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally
