📋 Description

• Provide administrative and financial support to the construction financial services team • Track project progress and identify risks • Enter and track requisitions, contracts, and purchase orders in financial and construction systems • Review and process invoices, pay applications, and change orders • Maintain project files and financial documentation for audit and compliance purposes • Reconcile project expenditures and assist with month-end and project closeout activities • Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to resolve transactional and funding issues • Generate routine financial reports and assist with data analysis • Learn and apply capitalization guidelines and support accurate asset classification and tracking • Participate in user testing, training, and documentation of financial system workflows • Assist in generation and distribution of applicable Approval Documents • Assist the Regulatory Team with state CON reporting requirements as applicable • Ensure capital project documentation adheres to Advocate Health policies and procedures • Help ensure project goals are met on time and within budget • Perform other related duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management or related field required • 1 - 3 years’ experience required • Excellent organization, analytical skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and communication skills (written and verbal) • Willingness to learn construction finance operations and asset management processes (project life cycle, contract types etc) • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, ERP and project management systems is a plus • Ability to work effectively within a team environment • Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs • Stable setup for daily virtual meetings • Occasional travel availability • PMP Certification preferred • Construction financial services experience preferred
