📋 Description

• Create, maintain, and deliver end-user training content through virtual webinars, deep-dive sessions, hands-on workshops, one-on-one coaching, onboarding, build-a-thons, on-demand training, instructional videos, and static training content • Work closely with technical and end-user teammates at all organizational levels • Serve as a technical resource for Copilot, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, OneDrive for Business, and Viva Engage • Answer functional questions and provide guidance on integrating Microsoft 365 services within Advocate Health governance policies • Research upcoming and deprecated Microsoft tenant features and advise management when appropriate • Design, implement, and manage Active Directory domains, user accounts, group policies, and related identity services • Architect, deploy, and manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including hybrid identity, federation, conditional access, and on-premises Active Directory integration • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services • Own identity, permissions, licensing, and access controls across the Microsoft ecosystem • Lead migrations from legacy systems to Microsoft 365, including tenant configuration, data migration, and new service deployments • Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis for complex identity and collaboration issues • Monitor platform health and implement performance and reliability improvements • Implement and improve security controls for identity, access, data protection, and collaboration services • Ensure Microsoft environments meet regulatory, privacy, and organizational compliance requirements • Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders on enterprise collaboration initiatives • Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures • Provide guidance and mentorship to associate- and mid-level engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on Microsoft 365 applications training/support experience • Minimum of 2 years of instructional design in a technical space • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field • Minimum of five years of IT experience with extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 technologies • Strong Active Directory administration and management experience • Experience with Windows Server, Group Policy, and related technologies • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation • Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorization, and conditional access • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Must live in one of the listed eligible U.S. states • No sponsorship or transfer of visa available now or in the future • Licensure, registration, and/or certification: none required
