📋 Description

• Guide, advise, and act as a resource regarding processes and issue resolution • Mentor and develop other Optimization analysts as needed • Serve as a subject matter expert for procedures and applications in assigned sub-functional areas • Identify, map, measure, analyze, and improve clinical and operational processes and moderate to complex problems • Perform current and future workflow analysis using industry standards and best practices • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts • Conduct unit, integration, and end-user acceptance testing • Track problem reports and document final testing outcomes • Facilitate software transitions and effective system utilization • Identify opportunities to develop application products and streamline workflows • Translate user requirements into functional design specifications with Information Technology • Ensure accurate data maintenance and assess technological impacts of operational requirements • Develop and maintain workflow, requirements, functional specification, installation, testing, user manual, procedure, and troubleshooting documentation • Complete change and quality-control documentation • Review data integrity and audit reports to identify and resolve issues • Perform complex data analysis supporting data requirements and initiatives • Collaborate with Information Technology to implement and monitor system improvements • Consult with Revenue Cycle leaders and stakeholders regarding equipment, applications, and functionality • Provide direction on complex application issues • Create project timelines and plans to meet deadlines • Coordinate activities of project team members as needed • Travel may be required

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant Mid-Revenue Cycle or Epic certification • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 6 years of healthcare experience or revenue cycle technology support for a large complex health care system • Experience interfacing with application users, vendors, and technical experts • Experience providing operational support for clinical systems • Experience analyzing business and clinical processes • Experience providing user training and education • Advanced knowledge of applications and technical components, including basic hardware, operating systems, and databases • Project management experience and ability to use project management software • Analytical skills to make recommendations based on data analysis and clinical user needs • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite or similar products and large-scale automated systems • Epic certification(s) must be obtained within 1 year and maintained with annual educational requirements • Ability to balance multiple tasks, prioritize, and complete assignments • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills • Ability to gather and organize data • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally • Must be able to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job
