⢠Design and develop technical and/or non-technical solutions for moderate to complex business needs and changes ⢠Gather, compile, and review information and data; examine existing systems and procedures; identify alternate courses of action ⢠Develop tools and improvements using existing software packages and coordinate development and implementation of new functionality and applications ⢠Assist with conversion and operational support planning for multiple simultaneous projects ⢠Manage training when applicable ⢠Assess impacts of requirements and designs across Epic and third-party applications and recommend solutions ⢠Act independently as an integration point among design teams ⢠Perform systems analysis, design, configuration, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support ⢠Serve as a resource for assigned applications and respond to user calls ⢠Communicate complex project requirements, specifications, impacts, updates, training, and support to users ⢠Collaborate with business and technical teams on problems, changes, and enhancements affecting data, workflow, and functionality ⢠Serve as liaison between the business community and IT organization ⢠Advise users on symplr platform and other software capabilities and limitations ⢠Evaluate vendor offerings and software enhancements for adherence to technical standards ⢠Analyze business and clinical service line operations to identify process automation opportunities ⢠Assist with business process redesign and documentation ⢠Make buy-versus-build recommendations and conduct feasibility studies ⢠Prepare project plans, timelines, resource plans, scope, and budget estimates ⢠Coordinate system development, implementation, operation, maintenance, application design, testing, documentation, and performance monitoring ⢠Help ensure system availability and data integrity ⢠Coordinate development of reports, queries, forms, and screens
⢠Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field ⢠Typically requires 5 years of experience working on moderate to complex business process mapping, analysis, business and user requirements, acceptance testing, and documentation ⢠Proficient in applications, operating systems, and databases, including hardware, platform, connectivity, and interface design ⢠Proficient at specifying user requirements, interacting with technical and health care staff and vendors, and documenting user needs, outcomes, and procedures ⢠Strong project management skills and ability to use project management software ⢠Ability to work with minimal supervision, balance multiple tasks, set priorities, and instruct and guide team members ⢠Organizational and analytical skills ⢠Technical problem-solving and logical, organized thinking ⢠Strong problem and issue resolution skills ⢠Strong written and oral communication skills ⢠Ability to effectively handle customer contacts ⢠Ability to work closely with health care application users, vendors, and technical professionals ⢠Proficient in translating user requirements into system specifications ⢠Understanding of change management practices and procedures ⢠Demonstrated understanding of technical components and their relationship to applications ⢠No licensure, registration, or certification required ⢠Ability to sit up to 80% of each workday ⢠Fine hand manipulation when using a computer keyboard ⢠Ability to perform work-related travel ⢠Must operate all equipment necessary to perform the duties of the job ⢠No relocation; no sponsorship or transfer of visa
