📋 Description

• Gain hands-on experience at the intersection of healthcare, data analytics, and population health strategy • Work with large-scale healthcare datasets, including medical and pharmacy claims data and electronic medical record (EMR) information • Generate actionable insights supporting Highmark's Living Health strategy • Collaborate with analytics professionals, clinical stakeholders, and business leaders • Support day-to-day analytics activities • Conduct research and reporting, including recommendations or alternative proposals • Analyze healthcare and population health data • Develop insights and recommendations • Participate in strategic projects, programs, and initiatives • Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects within area of expertise • Undertake related studies or enrichment programs • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned • Communicate with colleagues, clientele, and internal or external constituencies to plan assignments and resolve operational problems • Comply with HIPAA, data security guidelines, company policies, applicable laws, and the Code of Business Conduct

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. independently • Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role • Bachelor’s degree • Pursuance of a graduate degree full or part-time in an accredited college or university • Preferred: pursuing a Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Epidemiology, or a related field
