📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data processes and solutions for moving and transforming data across multiple systems • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data warehouses for business intelligence and analytics • Collaborate with IT, product, analytics, business teams, data professionals, analysts, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver data solutions • Monitor work against production schedules, provide progress updates, and report issues or technical difficulties to lead developers • Implement and manage data governance practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance • Collaborate on data security measures including access controls, encryption, and data masking • Mentor associate and intermediate data engineers • Perform data analysis and provide insights for decision-making • Stay current with data engineering trends and emerging technologies and recommend tools and best practices • Participate in the full data process from idea generation and analysis through design, build, and support • Perform other duties as assigned or requested

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of experience in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns for scalable, highly available systems • 5 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data management • 5 years of experience with SQL and database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB • 5 years of experience with data warehousing concepts and warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related field • Experience with Python and Spark framework preferred • 2 years of experience with Databricks preferred • 7 years of experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory preferred • 7 years of experience defining system architectures and evaluating technical feasibility trade-offs preferred • 7 years of experience designing or developing data solutions in healthcare preferred • 7 years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their data services preferred • 7 years of experience in data governance, data quality, and data security best practices preferred • 7 years of experience translating requirements, design mockups, prototypes, or user stories into technical designs preferred • 7 years of experience producing fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable data-related code preferred • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional environments • Experience and willingness to mentor junior data engineers • Compliance with HIPAA, company privacy policies, information security policies, code of business conduct, applicable laws, and training requirements
