📋 Description

• Provide after-hours RN telephone triage care to hospice and home health patients and caregivers • Communicate with empathy and understanding during difficult situations • Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care instructions • Coordinate care with other healthcare team members • Document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR) • Work two weekend days between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. MST • Work two weekdays between 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. MST • Pick up additional weeknight hours as availability is needed • Complete the four-week training schedule

🎯 Requirements

• Must hold an active RN license in a compact state • 4+ years of clinical nursing experience required • Experience in home health, palliative, med-surg, geriatrics, ICU, ER, and/or hospice care preferred but not required • English fluency is required; Spanish is a plus • Proficiency with computers and telecommunications equipment • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test for pre-employment screening • Must be able to meet California RN Required Prerequisites for RN Examination and Endorsements • Must have at least 400 work hours in the last two years • Must use a personal computer meeting the specified requirements • Internet connection; satellite broadband and mobile hotspots are not permitted • Webcam • Windows 11 or Mac OS 15 (Sequoia) or newer • CPU: 2.5 GHz • RAM: 6GB • Selected candidates must complete a brief skills assessment
