📋 Description

• Participate in face-to-face and remote selling to new and existing customers • Sell directly or indirectly through various sales channels • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions • Develop and deliver sales bids, presentations and proposals • Participate in product demonstrations • Identify and contact prospective customers • Build relationships to generate future sales and repeat business • Sell and stimulate demand for a series of products • Plan daily activities, including customer visits, grand opening events, joint opportunities, promotions, and Groundswell strategies • Deliver on key sales opportunities in the geography • Follow market and competition evolution and pass information to senior staff • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision and escalate complex issues • Travel throughout Tennessee to cover the territory

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, including occasional weekends and overnights • Driver’s license in good standing • Minimum of two years of related work experience (preferred) • Knowledge or experience in the animal nutrition retail industry (preferred) • Salesforce knowledge or experience (preferred) • Equine, livestock, pet or poultry nutrition knowledge (preferred) • Must reside in the state of Tennessee • Face-to-face and remote selling experience or capability • Basic knowledge of products, their characteristics and market
